How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

He’s just been told about well established businesses closing their door and his answer is to grin like a fucking madman whilst changing the subject.
He doesn’t give a fuck. A party of utter cunts.
Snug, smarmy, utter bastard. Not you Phil ; )

As long as we’ve got a PM and government that refuses to admit what they must surely know - that the implementation of Brexit is a clusterfuck of epic proportions - we can not even begin to recover from the malaise that is impacting our economy.

They're in denial.

They don't want to believe that their cherished project is an abject failure somewhere beyond clusterfuck.

They have to believe that all our problems are caused by something else. Or that if we were in the EU it would be even worse. They have to believe it.

This is because Brexit is basically a fucking cult. They are like the Moonies, the Jehovah's Witnesses, or those lads who used to stand around in town in the early 1970s selling Socialist Worker and telling folk that Ted Heath was a fascist and as bad as Franco.

Mad to think that people actually voted for a trading relationship which would inevitably mean higher prices on goods and food.

well as I keep saying they got plenty of advice this would be the upshot and they voted sunlight uplands party because thats what they WANTED to choose.

What’s depressing is that Brexit only really needed to be a bit shit not a total fucking disaster. We would have had the ERG etc moaning it wasn’t a proper Brexit but they’re doing that anyway. They must know that their version of a proper Brexit is an unachievable myth.

The Brexit shower told certain people what they wanted to hear.

It was a con from Day 1. Nothing could have made it work to our advantage. It was a recipe for being poorer. If you think being poorer is 'worth it' fine, but never forget that you inflicted it on all of us and that we will always hate and blame you for it.

For what it's worth, I would never advocate any policy to make ordinary people poorer, forever. Mind you, I have no wish to live in 1956.

Rees Smug wants us back in 1856
