Every cloud has a silver lining.Interesting to see some of the posters lauding our win in the APT cases are some of those most vociferous about Brexit - the connection being of course that the principles on which we succeeded were largely EU law principles
:)

Bank of England boss says UK must 'rebuild relations' after Brexit
Governor Andrew Bailey delivers his strongest comments yet on the UK's departure from the EU.www.bbc.co.uk
Bank of England basically saying we need to fix our relationship with the EU.
Oh god I clicked on it. Took me back. If ever an internet poster personified an idiology it's the Bloviator and Brexit. Gargantuan arrogance and ignorance in an almost totally perfect blend.

If only a politician would come out and say that in a way that policy can then start to be changed. Starmer won’t say it as he seems too shit scared of upsetting the people who were sold magic beans for voting for the pile of shite which is brexit.
This bloke should be in prison .... along with the rest of the lying b'stards.
The gammon would be rioting in the streets .... now is not the time (sadly)

Does anybody have a fucking clue what these "many opportunities" are?Not really a Damascene moment more an "I want to keep my nice well paid comfy job" statement. He said as a public official he takes no position on Brexit which is a naked lie. He was chosen by Johnson because he was pro-Brexit - he made a speech in early 2023 where he said Brexit offers us many opportunities that we have yet to exploit and now this ....... sways which way the wind blows.
Have we explored the potential benefits of the Togolese soybean market yet?Does anybody have a fucking clue what these "many opportunities" are?
