How many league goals will Haaland score this season?

42 games then v 38 now
And Dixie Dean played in 39 of them. 60 goals in 39 games.

That was in 1927/28, just one year after Middlesbrough's George Camsell's record of 59 goals (including 9 hat-tricks, a record still standing today). Imagine scoring a whopping 59 goals, smashing the record, only to have it beaten the very next season.

The fact that suggesting Haaland might beat them is only half-joking shows just how insane of a start Haaland has had. Let's pray he can keep it up all through the season. (Currently on pace to 59.7 league goals this season!)

I think the Targaryen will do 36 goals in the league. I think someone needs to start a poll.

I never said he SHOULD get a hat trick so stop writing bollocks and nor have I said he`s a machine.
So everyone else is wrong and you are right.
He had a touch like an elephant today, scored a great goal and played a nice pass for KDB to cross for Foden.
How many time did he lose the ball ? In fact he trod on it on more than one occasion. I`m a City fan first and foremost ... not a player fanboy and sometime the truth hurts people like you.
"People like you" ? So you are one of these people that resorts to personalisation in debates, cool. I really just do not see why he was apparently awful just because he didn't play how you expect him too. You asked if I had a actually watched the game, have you actually watched Haaland play before he came here? If you have, you would have noticed that he can sometimes come across as not thee most technically brilliant footballer, likely because he is still young and is also so tall, plus that's just not his game. He will never be an Aguero or a Messi, he will sometimes look unsightly, but what he will always do is score lots of goals. I don't understand in a game we strolled through, scored 3 goals (1 he scored and the other he was involved in) that people still decide to try and pick apart and criticise a player who has seamlessly transitioned into a new league at such a young age.

I watched every second, and you (and others) are talking absolute tripe! Despite what the papers and many fans think, he's not a machine and he can't be perfect in every chance in every game. What he is though is the best striker in the world bar none, if you think he was awful today because he didn't get another hatrick then you have become spoilt by him and the other talents we have. He scored a goal and was instrumental in another (Foden's), no player on the planet now or in the past can convert every chance with the perfect touch. It beggars belief you say he was awful
This is one of the best comments I’ve ever read on here well said this boy is the best in world don’t get to greedy as fans he’s not a robot but he is awesome enjoy why we have him I’m 55 and this is one of the best players I’ve ever seen
