Of all the fucking times, my shoulder has gone again.

I can't stop training so its bite the bullet, 2 painkillers and put up with it for now. I'm gona have to get a few sports massages booked in

Anton,i'm going to be blunt - don't be a nob....!

I tried the 'train through it' route and ended up having a operation that kept me from training for near 12 months - for the sake of 4/6 weeks rest and rehab,it aint worth the risk of chronic damage.

If you choose to ignore me,then at least stop all pushing/overhead movements.
Unfortunately I can't stop training, so I'll have to work round it. I tore my rotator cuff a few years ago and its just flaring up again. Lateral raises and shoulder press set it off so if I work around it then I should be able to train through the pain for now

You are, as always, right though, I should rest it!!

I've just discovered Quark, which is a bit of a result because i wasn't a big lover of Cottage Cheese.

I was just wondering if anyone else indulges in Quark as a bedtime munch and if so what recipes they use?

There's a couple of recipes i use but i'm looking for a bit of a variety if anyone can oblige?

Thanks in advance.................

Just mix a tbsp of chocolate pro peptide in the baby.......

I use it as a snack at all times of the day.

It's a German very low-fat soft cheese mate, although doesn't particularly taste like cheese (more like 'creme fresh' to me), as Danamy has discovered lol, a great option if you don't like cottage cheese, FI's is a very popular one but for years my last meal before bedtime was :-

Tin of rinsed tuna
Tin of 'good for you' Tomatoe and Basil soup
Half a tub of Quark

Definitely one of my better combinations that I'd recommend.

I can vouch for this, I don't like cottage cheese at all, and Tuna needs to be mixed with something before I can get it down without too much trouble, and the above recipe sorts it all out.

I highly recommend:

1 Tub of Quark 250g
A little skimmed milk to get the consistancy
2 scoops of micro whey
1 sachet of Hartleys suger free jelly powder
Mix all together

You then have a nice strawberry cheesecake tasting treat packed with about 50g of protein to see you through the night.

The good thing about Quark along with Cottage Cheese is there high in Casein which is a slow releasing protein and is ideal before bedtime.
You then have your very own protein drip to see you through the night.

Special thanks to FI for opening the door................

It's all very complicated!

Only if you let it get that way mate, for 99.9% of people it's honestly one of the simplest and easy things to follow :-
Good training routine
Good diet (the only thing that changes whether bulking or going for fat loss)
Rest.

Simples :-)
