There was a bar set back about 100 yards before the square,barrels as tables,the geezer in the fountain was in the bar about 12ish when me and my lad turned up,the geezer had a yaya shirt on and was absolutely wankered,was chucking jaeger bombs down his neck like they were going out of fashion,and that's about 10 hours before the game....the coin throwing was a joke,I was in 531 and there was handfuls of coins going over at a time.....for me though,the downside was the blues knocking fuck out of each other at the bottom of 531......

Majority of City fans were great last night and atmosphere in bars near entrance 21 was brilliant. But I have a few criticisms:

Why does nobody sit down at away games?- the bloke next to me with a walking stick was having some problems standing for 90 mins. We used to criticise Utd fans for exactly this behaviour.

Much more importantly Why when a significant number of lowlife were throwing coins at the home fans over the netting do most City fans turn a blind eye and pretend its not happening - and it was , often. And I was in block 535 and they were coming from near the back

Didn't enjoy the Hillsborough /80's style of leaving the ground

To the City fan trying to start a fight with other City fans on the Diagonal after the game - why bother ? You ruin our reputation abroad.

To the bloke they thinks Mangala is the answer to our problems - lol- we will just have to agree to disagree.

"You're just a shit Crystal Palace" funniest song in the night as Messi was pulling us apart.

How did you manage to get a ticket for the game. It's clear that you've not don many (if any) away games before so I'm assuming that you didn't have the required amount of loyalty points. Strange that you'd moan about fans standing at an away game.

Then again at the Nou Camp last season there were plenty of blues sat down

Can't fault Barcleona's tactics - put the away fans up in the gods, away from either goal and it seems to the players that there's only home fans at the game - maybe we should try it. But a great 3 days anyway!

I heard there was a large group in the middle of block 531 all from the same supporters club, Who went down to the front and attacked a much smaller group of young lads ! Is this true ?? Because I got told there is a large group of lads from the ardwick/longsight areas that are going to the ground at weekend to track down the attackers. 3 pictures have been doing the rounds of the attackers around the longsight/ardwick/wgorton areas over the last couple of days so people know who they are looking for.
Sounds like the shit is gonna hit the fan bigtime.

My daughters very first away game whereas mine was Sheffield United in 1975, who ever said life was fair! Enjoyed all pre match and met some great Blues who really looked after my daughter, we are simply the best fans in the world. Spanish police did there best to spoil things and no need to keep us locked in for so long. Disappointed with stadium which is tired and old. Roll on next seasons CL and look forward to travelling again with the worlds best supporters!
