I'm not too bothered if they are declared champions but surely everything else has to be null and void. Some teams have games in hand that could make a huge difference.

It would be 100% shyster-ish of the premier league to put that decision on City - 'would you award Liverpool the title?' Assuming it would be a resounding NO, can you imagine the level of hatred that would follow. It should be them and the FA alone to decide that. Cancel every competition that hasn't already been completed and start next season afresh (hopefully). The record books will show City & Liverpool won some silverware early doors, with the other unfinished comps voided.

If a horse race or indeed any race has to stop 75% of the way through I can’t see any way you would say “X looked likely to win so let’s call him the winner”.
IMHO Null and void is the only sane option if completion is not possible.
Love the play off idea though!!

Much as it hurts I would say if it's not null and void then if the Livervictims are awarded the title, at least they won't be able to get over 100 points or the goal record or the wins in a season record.
