for Christ sake this ref crap has got to stop. He's a professional, for him to get away with "cheating" so many people would have to be involved it would be beyond belief. It's scummy-united's constant whingeing at refs that get the decisions because the refs weak. Not a cheat.

I have no problem with H.Webb reefing us (so long as the opponent is not man Utd). The big issue around the appointment of officials this week is that C.Foy is in to ref the Utd game.

The Premier League, via the PGMOB, announces the referees and assistants for the matches on the following weekend on Monday afternoon at 16:00.

This occurs regardless of the presence, or not, of a Monday night match.

For the first time this season (aside from Easter), no such announcement was made yesterday afternoon prior to the Manchester derby - the Championship Play Off, League One and League Two officials were released, so someone was in the office!
The referees have even been announced for the Blue Square Premier Play Offs next Monday.

Seems they wanted to know the outcome of last night before letting Ferguson choose who he wanted for the key games this weekend.
