Disagree. Over the last couple of months it has become obvious that City have been leaking goals and a top 6, let alone a top 4 place was going to be a big ask. Hughes was given the benefit of the doubt over the Summer, and backed massively in the transfer market. He bought star players of unquestioned talent, but has not been able to wield them into a team.

If you think that City are run to give friends a job at the expense of the success of the team, you are wrong. We might have been unlucky with defensive injuries, but the inability to defend cost hughes his job. No need to look for conspiracies

Another way of looking at it, is the owners have seen no improvemnt in defence and with Toure ofski and a few injuries over the coming months they couldnt see regular wins coming and a top 4 oportunity missed.

Amazing that some people are aiming such pious and inaccurate bile at the owners.

I'd love to know if these same people were so vocal during the reign of the odious Thaksin - a man who really did bring shame on the name of Manchester City, tarnishing it with all sorts of issues, all whilst not caring about the club and taking it to the brink.

If these people are so vocal about the current owners moving on a manager who they baacked to the hilt but still didn't perform than I assume that they went on hunger strike or something similar to protect the good name of Manchester City when it was really under threat from someone with terrible motives.
