Why would say Rijkaard be unrealistic? He's availible and it's hard to imagine a job offer coming along any time soon that's better than ours, if it becomes a job offer that is. :)

Woy is a far superior manager to hughes.
I think if we want someone new to take over it's gotta be as soon a possible, if we wait until the end of the season then we are back in the process of a manager starting all over again. We get a manager in say next monday, for example, he has then got until the end of the season to see our lads play, train and interact with each other. He can also judge who he would like in next years squad and who is capable to get us where we want. It's sad to see Hughes management come to an end, partly because there is no ovious replacement.
I'd go for big Phil Scolari. Get him in now, before the end of the season, and let him see what we have got so that next season will be less of a learnng curve
