Hughes sacked

Funny how Hughes left us with his reputation totally intact apart from with the people who had to watch his team try to defend every week and then had to filter through the Joorabchian fuelled media lies for about 18 months afterwards. Also funny that now everyone else has the same view of Hughes as your average City fan. I like QPR, it's a shame Fernandes didn't talk to a few City supporters before he sacked Warnock and took on Hughes. Presumably he read the papers instead.

Spot on, they need to sack him fast and get Harry in....

Re: not long left for hughes

Samuels is right. When he came to us he was being touted as the brightest young British manager around....potentially.Hughes and his massive backroom team never tired of telling everyone how good and professional they were, only their results on the field never backed that up.So he went to Fulham where he never ripped up any trees either. Now at QPR where the same old ''Give me time,we played well but had hard luck'' cliches keep getting rolled out yet again. He better pray results improve soon or he will be history and probably take his boring monotone voice onto a tv punditry job.

Steady on!

Just think how shit we would have been between Sven and Mancini if we hadn't had the benefit of 'The Football Factory' set up that the Taffia ran like a machine at Carrington and their unparalleled professionalism and winning attitude that served as an example to all the shit, unprofessional, lazy bastard players, staff, coahces, doctors, player liasion, cleaners, receptionists and security guards that they had to put up with.

Re: not long left for hughes

Given the resources he had, and wasted, I honestly think Hughes was one of the worst managers we have had (there is lots of competition). He finished lower than Sven's team and his tactical knowledge, especially in building a defence, was non existent. He, along with his pal Kia the snake, seemed to spend most of his time sucking up to his pals in the press.

Mark Bowen explains the problem after 7 minutes for the next half-hour - apparently we've got Kompany and still can't defend corners so what chance have QPR got?
