Hughton Sacked.

The glimmer of hope they have is that Fulham, Sunderland and Cardiff are really shite.

Bottom 7 all sacked there managers this season and it has made little affect. So glad we have owners that can see reasoning behind a bad patch.

and a manager on an incredibly high wage that you'd still have to pay if you sacked him? ;)
Hard luck yesterday Mark, the effort was much appreciated.

From a neutral's viewpoint, he's been a bit unlucky, as the big signings he made - 3 forwards - have only scored 7 between them all season, despite playing decent football a lot of the time.
How is it unlucky that his signings haven't performed?

If they'd all signed and then done their cruciates within 2 weeks, that'd be unlucky. The fact he bought players not suited to either the English game or the Norwich side is bad management.

Are we talking about the same owners who sacked a manager that kept you up and brought in a manager that had just been relegated and in turn relegated you meaning you had to then sack that manager to bring in the current manager and have driven the club in to more debt than you had before sold off your stadium for around £30 miilion less than its worth and made you tenants in a stadium that in no way was built to host football
Cracking fellas

That's fair comment, but, it's unlucky in the sense that they spent big money on 2 sought after players - Hooper and van Wolfswinckle - record signings/more than they've ever spent before - and neither of them has produced the goods. Yes, bad management, and very easy to judge as same, in retrospect.

I said only '..a bit unlucky...' - Jeez! Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!

I don't know what goes through the minds of Football Club Chairman - we can hardly talk given the baffling decisions Swales made over the years... But Norwich sacking Hughton and going after Lennon would rank alongside sacking Billy Davis and appointing Stuart Pearce as bum decision of the week.

the timing has been questioned but they had to get rid now, there is still a chance they will stay up and if that happened they would look foolish sacking a manager who's remit is to keep them in the division.
