There's not much chance of that happening through is there?
Farage hasn't been off TV for twenty years. He's been on numerous reality TV and talk shows and there isn't really much more to reveal is there.
People who like Farage tend to like him a lot and they won't change their view, but they probably know the type of person he is. A chancer, who tell lies, a loveable rogue, a man who cheats on his wife and uses expenses to pay for it.
He packs brings in fans for for his "Farage at the pub interviews of celebrity hasbeens" and he has them lapping it up like the audience of Top Gear during the Clarkson years.
People who dislike Farage, know all this too, and that's usually why they dislike him.
He's better at sincerity than Matt Hancock but ultimately most people aren't daft, they can tell when someone is more dishonest than not and Farage is on balance a dishonest person.
Chances are if anyone was going to like Farage, they already would. Unless he performs some heroic and selfless act or has a harrowing sob story to tell there isn't much he could do to win more support than he already has.
You’re quite right he’s not been far from the public eye. Has he been on other reality shows? Didn’t know that, I don’t follow him that closely.
Is this the biggest show he’s been on though? Be interesting to see a poll of how “popular” he is before and after. Only for my own morbid curiosity you understand, rather than I think he’s suddenly going to become the next PM of this land. Or even close to it. I seem to recall the narrative that most people thought Hancock a twat but after this show public perception softened towards him - but as you say Hancock wasn’t on radio or TV spreading his opinions prior to the show, in the same way Farage was.
I do concur with the comparisons to Clarkson and the type of demographic they both appeal to.
I had a work laptop many years ago when I worked from home, me and Mrs H went on holiday and my single mate “house sat” for us, I told him he could use the work laptop, this was early days, think it was 8GB.I know, but on my work laptop - I've been spoken to about this before.
About 17 times.
Last time I posted you said you were leaving the thread. That’s what I admire, someone who sticks to his principles.Halfmist jumping to Nigel Farage’s defence whilst championing (wrongly) an outdated reality tv series is what I’m here for today.
What a time to be alive
