I broke my leg last week, advice on how to cope with six weeks of inactivity welcomed.

Well as the lighter nights get lighter, I was out in the garden sitting having a wine a few days ago. That’s about it. Oh, I have been learning new songs on my guitar and an unexpected bonus is the certainty this will drive people I love to distraction is a wonderful motivator.

I’m not that fucking bad, not that great either to be fair, but the abuse I take is off the charts. I’m just lucky I have a vengeful nature when wronged and carry on louder than ever.
I do what I can.

Hobbling about now too without crutches.

What songs have you learnt ?

The Proclaimers
'And I would walk 500 miles or more,
But my fuckin' crutch just fell on the floor'

At least, I think that's what they shout.

I’m afflicted, don’t mock. Although to be fair, you horrible cunts are giving me ideas.

I tore my knee ligaments or meniscus in October. I went for am Mri scan this morning to finally determine what's fecked.
I've been back on crutches 3 times in 5 months. I'd have rather broke it. I've had about 9 weeks off work in that period. Fecking nightmare as I'm self employed.

Paint your cast in green hoops, leaving the white cast in-between, go to Ibrox to watch a match, and I’m sure the Rangers fans will look after you and your broken leg. ;-)

No, I am starting back at work on Monday. I won’t make the starting line up against Rangers on Sunday, but I’m hoping to be brought on midway through the second half and rattle home a hat trick.
Work ! I suppose the sheep won't gather themselves.

It'll be around 3 months (hopefully) until I get my new leg, but I won't be playing football for a while, I don't think. Not at 73!
