i have never ever looked at hughes and related him to being an ex-scum player, that doesn't bother me one little bit, i couldn't care less who he played for or what he did, i'm bothered about what he does for this team, and at the end of the day he can't do it, end of.

look at the facts I stated and tell me where you expect us to be right now.

Realistically we shouldn't be 6th, we should of lost at least 5 games this season, we could easily be 12th

game in hand, who says were gonna win it?

QF on the cup, its good i can't disagree, but to be honest i think anyone could beat the 3 teams we've played, there would be something incredibly wrong if we couldnt beat palace, fulham and scunny

i would of taken it yes but we shouldnt be 1 point off third place

ah, but facts are facts. We ARE 6th and we ARE a game in hand off 1pt off 3rd place. Yes, we may have had an easy run in the cup, but the fact is THIS manager and HIS team have not bottled it, unlike previous managers/teams at this club! Utd have had a piss easy run in cups for years, but all anyone remembers is their names on the trophy, I don't care how we get there as long as we have a decent run!

Below was taken from an article dated 16th December 2007

It has to be considered now that after 17 games Manchester City are not in a false position. We have now played 17 of the country’s top sides and dispatched 10 of them (albeit nine at home) and are currently fourth in the table

After 200-250 million investment in the playing staff and 18 months with a new man in charge I expected the team to be in a higher position than we we're two years ago.

Too much to ask?

Thats because you and others have been against him since day one on the basis that he was 'a rag'. It has pained you that we had a great start and the anti Hughes feelings subsided, now you see another chance to destabilise the club and manager again.

FACTS

1) We are currently in 6th position

Yes we are, but thats maybe just down to the poor teams we beat early season, with even a couple of them being fortunate wins.

2) If we win our game in hand (not guaranteed I know, but not impossible) we are 1 point of tottenham in 3rd.

If we had a manager who knew what he was doing, then we would possibly not have sqaundered so many points and been top..........

3) On Wednesday we have the chance to reach our first major semi final since 1981.

Not true, we had that chance last season.......but the one c*nt in the ground who did not see Dunne getting a red was our numpty.........or how to use subs or change tactic.

4) SO are you telling me in all honesty in July 2009 you would not have accepted MCFC being potentially 1 point off third place and a home tie versus Arsenal reserves away from a semi final by early December??

No, but by your rules would you have been happy to be told after spending 200million we can only manage draws against the likes of Wigan, Hull, and Fulham at home, not won in two months (And that against a lower league team in the cup on pens ) and play sh*te football ?.

If not, then some people need a very serious reality check.

Yes, some people do, they leap on the fact numpty is an ex red as part of a defence for an incompetant manager, I dont care who he played for, I care that he`s f*cking my club over because he is clueless.

Ah yes, the class of 2007, the wonderful Sven who signed Benjani, Garrido, Geovanni, Elano, Bianchi. This was the same team that capitulated in the 2nd half of the season! We are going through a bad spell at the moment, but we have still only been beaten once and are well in touch with a top four finish, once we get some confidence back I have every confidence this side can win 4/5 games on the bounce.

wow a clueless manager getting us into 6th place (a game in hand away from 1 pt off 3rd) and a 1/4 final by early Dec......yep he is totally clueless. It's knee jerkers like this that make us a laughing stock and have help mould this club into a soap opera for the last 30 years- some people will never be happy.
