Went to my mums last night, ended up finding some old photos of me as a kid, and a few of them were me in the back garden wearing a united kit....
Its hardly suprising considering all my family are rags, apart from me and my younger brother (i made sure he went the right way), but i feel so so so dirty.
I saw the might in 1996 when my nans brother took me to maine road to see us play blackburn, it was a crap game and it ended in a draw but since then i was hooked!
Anyway, is there anybody else in this position!? Are there photos of you as a kid wearing that shit agaisnt your will? Please say there are! I feel filthy

And so you should. I think a street stoning is the only way forward for you

Glory hunter!

when i was a little one someone gave me some clothes and one of the items of clothing was united shorts me and my dad took them out back and set them ablaze. would never had put them on. City mad since i was born.

reminds of visiting my grandparents in Stockport in the early 70's, used to spend every available school holiday there, and played footie, cricket etc with a bunch of lads who were all United fans, who continually tried to convert me.

I used to watch both City and United when i was a young kid back in early seventies Hulme , as i lived midway between both grounds..... but i never , ever , wore any United gear ..... and around 1973 i gave up goin' to the Swamp altogether , it just didn't 'feel right'.

Very similar for me. I remember a Wednesday evening, watching them draw 0-0 at home to Chelsea, crammed against the fence at the front of the Stretford End. My first City game was a 2-3 home defeat to Crystal Palace on the last day of the 1972/73 season. Franny Lee scored both from penalties. Although I only lived a few minutes from the swamp, I immediately realised that Maine Road was the place for me.

By far, the best choice I've ever made in my life.

The glory hunters are joining us from the Swamp quicker than I imagined...

you dirty dirty dirty person!

Well, if it's confession time, I've a few 1d reds in me album. But they don't get the same treatment nor space as me 2d blues.

I once road on an old MCTD bus - most of 'em were red in those days. We used to wait for the 17 coming from Rochdale - blue and cream!
