It just goes to show when purchasing any player we have to look at the whole package. Ferguson only buys players that can play but can also fit in with the squad.
Seems balotelli can play but rubs up all the players the wrong way.

one word, bebe
I assume you're starting in alphabetical order ...Veron.

jorde cruyff and yes

The OP can love Balotelli all he wants. So can everyone else. In fact, I also keep hearing fans of other clubs saying how much they love him. Some of the media even call him 'box office' and 'pure theatre'.

However, I never hear anyone else saying that they want him at their club. Enough said.

Can anyone explain to me why so many people keep referring to Balotelli as a kid or a lad ? He's 22 in 4 months ... he's not a kid or a lad - he's a fully grown man !

He's been in a pro sports environment for over 10 years and has probably been very well paid for at least the last 6 or 7. There can be no excuse for his behaviour as he must know what is expected of him by now.

I watch City to see them play good football and win things when they can, I want to be proud of the players we have wearing our shirt.. I cannot be proud of this man and do not want him to represent my team ever again.

OS mouthpiece Peter Ferguson
Yes, it seems like it's always him these days. Mario Balotelli's apology via his agent for his appalling behaviour at Arsenal offers a fresh chance for another bite at the story today.

with PR support like that from his own club who needs an agent?

Mancini is using Mario for a scapegoat in what was a poor performance against a side who should of give us a bigger hiding than we got. If Mario was so out of order why wasn't he subbed earlier Tevez could easily have come on at 13 minutes.
I'm not gonna slate Mancini because overall he is doing a fantastic job but he really needs to take long look at himself and how a far superior squad can be beaten by an average rags squad, its laughable.

When he got away with the red card tackle, he hadnt been booked so leaving him on was not a risk at that stage and Yaya had just gone off, making another sub risky.

However he should have gone off at half time and that was just very very poor management.

more grating really

He's reckless , he doesn't have his head screwed on and drags unnecessary attention to the club. But with that said , he has also scored 17 goals this year , and when the lad is on form , he is very very hard to deal with. Even against Sunderland, he played piss poor and ended the game with 2 goals. The same with the Arsenal game, he didn't do anything on note but he could have scored twice. He maybe a nutter, but he can create something from nothing, he can be quiet for 90 minutes and pop up with the winner. I think he is a great player, and he's a laugh as well but I can't be doing with the uneasiness he brings to I think every city fan. As soon as he gets a soft booking, you can't help but think we're gunna go down to ten men at some point. Ideally, Mario could just cut out this behaviour and just focus on his game, but that will never happen no matter where he goes. I knew what he was about straight away when we played West Brom away last year. He scored twice, won us the game and then got sent off. That game defines his entire career for City so far, talented but flawed. I personally hope he stays for another year , matures a bit more and tones down his behaviour. I think Mancini , like at the start of this season, should just leave him out for the first handful of games nest season. Give Balotelli and incentive to improve and get his head down. But eventually an incident will come up again where he will do something stupid , because that is who he is. With Mario, you either live with the stupidity and trust his talent , or you just leave him altogether. Normally, any other player does this and I'd say get rid, but I think Balotelli is better than most players.
