I had not given up hope even before he scored, because although we needed two goals to go in, in not many minutes, a goal at Sunderland was just as good for us as scoring ourselves. I knew I was clinging on to hope by my fingernails but I had not let go. When Dzeko scored we only had a couple of minutes left, but there were still a couple of minutes left at Sunderland also. I got excited when he scored, because there were still two chances for us to win the league: one by Sunderland equalising, the other a goal from Aguerooooooooo.....

When silva walked up to take the corner, I was feeling as low as I've ever felt watching city, sat with my 2 boys in a bar in Calgary with noisy gloating reds who'd never seen Manchester.

I had one eye on my car parked outside and had actually put my jacket on to leave.

Dzeko equalized and my thoughts were akin to...you fuckers, I've steadied myself for the despair and now you've given me a glimmer of hope, which will only worsen my despair in a couple of minutes.

Anyway, the only other worthwhile thing to say is when Aguero scored I jumped higher than I've ever jumped, and the ensuing "rush" meant my legs went. I literally fell on the floor and could not stand up for a minute. I guess that's delerium for you.

I had totally lost hope and was "fuck - too little too late". My wife, who i converted into a City fan (ha, as if she had a choice) still believed it was possible. Shows she's a new City convert - hasn't gone through the agony all of us have :)

When Aguero scored, I was just stunned. She started screaming and screaming - so loud she lost her voice and couldn't speak for 15 mins after. The kids started wrestling and rolling on the ground and nearly dismantled half of the family room.

And even though I was at Wembley in '99, I never thought we'd score again.

But when Agüerooooooooooo happened, I just went bananas with Mrs Vienna, our then 2 1/2 year-old grandson and the two lads who sit next to us in 328.

Thats how i felt! dangled the carrot even closer to me

those 5 mins dragged me from one extreme emotion to the other, ive never experienced anything like that. a completely unique moment in world sport and it belongs to us.
