I was there when.....

1) Wemberly 1999
2) Robinho's debut v Chelsea
3) Sat on the front row of the Platt Lane Stand when Kinkladze scored the best EVER goal i have seen v Southampton, 1996.
4) Paul Lake's Testimonial, his last kick of a football to start the match.
5) Nicky Weaver making his debut in a pre-season friendly at Maine Road v Jamacia, 1998.
6) Ewood Park 2-0 down, 5 minutes to go, Robinho grabs a stoppage time equalizer.
7) City v Wycombe in the Coca-Cola Cup, 1995. Martin Margetson came on as a sub for Niall Quinn and played up front.

Not bad, could have done with some trophies!

I was there at Colin Bell's comeback game (loony toon army, boxing day '77). 0-0 at half time. Bell was brought on as a sub for the start of the second half, and I swear to anyone on here, I've never heard Maine Road make a noise like it (even when we scored against the vermin). I was 15, and I shed a tear that day. And we went on to win 4-0 as well!
This was my first ever game,i was 8 and i bore everyone to death with it every boxing day and will continue to do so til my dying day,was hooked from minute i came through the turnstile,we haven,t won anything since that day but its coming boys/girls
