Ibrahimovic

NO NO NO NO NO

we dont want this guy...the most overrated forward in world football

he only plays when he wants to....if he cannt play in a team like barca and do well then he will have no chance at city

he goes missing in every game ive ever seen him in.
he is lazy

he has undoubted talent but he rarely uses it

he would hugely struggle with the pace of the premiership.....he requires too much time on the ball

he is supposedly good int he air but again the prem league is very different to playning in the much slower european leagues. he wont cope with prem defenders

please please please dont but this waste of money....we would end upa laughing stock paying for sucha failure

Zlatan is not the type of player City need. They need a striker like Tevez who works his socks off. And we have already Adebayor. He's like Zlatan..

Ibra doesn't seem to fit Barcas style that well. They tend to play better when the central striker drifts out wide alot which allows the likes of Messi and Iniesta to drive through the center. Ibra likes to stay in the centre, which is why he may be a good fit for us. Since we've got Tevez we need a forward who will stay in the middle. Ibra is a fantastic player and would be welcome at City as far as Im concerned. A cheeky offer of a straight swap for Robinho?

That would never ever happen. Unless, and here's my little conspiracy theory.

Last season, Manchester City established a strong bond with Barcelona FC. The club's respective chairman's got along nice and start talking about players and the future. I scheme is planned and put in action last summer.
Man City already by then knew Mancini would be eventually in charge at MCFC, at the beginning of the 10/11 season or maybe even earlier (as it turned out). Roberto had already been in talks with the board about what he would like to do with his new club, which players he would want and so on. He mentions Ibrahimovich as a wanted target.
Now, how could they get Ibrahimovich to Manchester? A straight offer to Inter was out of the question, as Ibra would never come before Mancini was at the rudder, but he had already decided to move on. MCFC did not want Ibra to go off somewhere signing a huge 5-year deal, so a brilliant plan emerged.

Etó had expressed a desire to try something else, so a swap between Etó and Ibra looked to be a good move for everybody involved. But Barca was not too sure about this switch and wanted cash as well. Inter would not do this... but our wealthy owner could chip in the differences, IF they (Barca) played by our rules. Barca would have Ibra for one season, and then they would let him go to MCFC, where Mr Mancini would welcome him with open arms.

Barca would NEVER had paid such a huge amount of money to Inter, plus Etó for Ibra, that's just not plausible at all. All the money involved in this transfer was funded by our owner.

To protect their soon-to-be-asset, they asked Barca to limit his game time, yet make sure he stayed fir and ready for the Premier League.

Of course... this is just nonsense... but there could be something going on behind the scenes we know nothing about. Also I think there might be a connection between Inter and MCFC not known to the public.

Our owner is just not wealthy: they are extremely wealthy and enormously important and influential, to not just individuals, but also cooperation's, regimes and nations. If they want something, they WILL get it.

Hehe, nice. :) At least it would explain what the talks with Barcelona were all about, we never got to know the real reason for that.

Feels like Ibra will stay at the moment but that could change. For the first time since he's been there he's been confined to the bench for a couple of games because Guardiola feels there are better alternatives, maybe he'll be annoyed enough with that.

However, if we were to get Ibra this season it would take shitloads of money since we're not in the CL.

Might not cost as much as you think. Barca reportedly are interested in Robinho and a swap deal may be on the cards involving Ibra.

Ibra is a combination of looking lazy on the pitch like berbatov and causing trouble "inside" like Robinho. I`d leave well alone.
