Because it means Big vince will lead us out at wembley and he deserves that!!!

Silly boy, Kompany is a defender. He is not a scorer. The best he can do is getting all DRAWS in the league and get you 38 points.

Tevez and other strikers are scorers. The best they can do is getting all WINS in the league and get you whopping 114 points.

That is why strikers are always more important than defenders.

It doesn't matter who should be the skipper. Make no difference at all. All I remember is that how bad Kolo played when he was a skipper. Tevez still played the same be4 or after he was a skipper. No difference to Tevez, difference to Kolo.

So, Kompany the skipper? Good. But make no difference.
You clearly don't understand the role of a captain, lets just give it silva, he's a good player...

The main reason Tevez has so many goals is because he's played on his own up front - There's noone else to score them, so ultimately he has to be selfish and it all falls down to whether he can score or not. Once's he's put with a partner his goals dry up.

So if Tevez had been fit we should/would have played him up front on his own, rightfully.

So what I don't understand is why people are saying how much of a miss he'll be yet they say we need "4-4-2 lets fucking go for it" when the best 2 strikers for a 4-4-2 are probably Dzeko and Balotelli?

No doubt he'll be a miss but its not the end of the world. We still have our most important player fit (Silva) so I hope to god nothing happens to him for the rest of the season injury-wise, because if he does get injured then we are fucked.

What is the fuss about the skipper? It is not decided by you, a fan, after all.

A captain is so much more than just your best player, for a start a half decent one would speak the language and decide against handing in a transfer request...

The main reason Tevez scored so many goals is because Mancini asked him to score a lot, while having every other players to sit back and protect the defense. Typical negative tactics. LOL.

You should be grateful Tevez scored a lot under less support from teammates because of the negative tactics. Otherwise it could have been a disaster for Mancini.

Silva is creative. But you knew how well Chelsea dealt with him while Tevez was out.

Silva is there to creative things. Tevez is there to make things happen. Hope you are right you don't need Tevez.

-- Thu Apr 14, 2011 5:27 pm --

Tevez is not my best player, he is your team's best player. He is not MINE. LOL.

Some people have problem learning new language. So, as an English, you should be considerate a bit about that.

I think ever since the sack of Sparky, Tevez has made up his mind to quit already. Don't blame Tevez, just blame "certain executive".

Tevez, after all, is Sparky's man. Not exactly Mancini's man.

I was with you mate, every time he's not played we have looked a better "team" for me.

And yet I read siomewhere before the game that in the matches that Tevez has missed, we have lost more than 50% and won very few indeed.

Exactly when a team is so over reliant on one player sometimes the team play better without that player if that makes sense. Fergie has proved this over the years most recently with Ronaldo.

this! is why i dont want tevez to play in the final (or be captin) because he didnt bover the show his face at the semi (maybe the club told him to stay in italy) but he should of been there) so for me kompany as captin and to lift to trophy if we win it.
