The club has to do what is best for City and whether Bobby wins the Cup or not should not change that. If we win the cup and finish second, it would look harsh to be getting rid of Bobby and from a sentimental point of view, I have no wish to see him sacked under those circumstances or even if all we do is qualify for the UCL. However, we need to improve and we need, IMO, to change some things about how we play; if Bobby does not looks like the man to make those changes for next season, he needs to be replaced if there is a better candidate out there. I don't think that there are many better options and they really need to be significantly better to justify a change. If Mourinho wants the job, and I mean really wants the job, the club has to very seriously consider bringing him in but I don't think Jose does want the job enough.
I also wonder if Bobby might not prefer to return to Italy?

Even if we got a new manager, a run of bad results and people would want him gone too.
