To be fair, my praise has mostly been relative to the opposition and to the more recent efforts against Liverpool. All within a relativist assessment framework, if you will. Hence my comments about Walker, Sterling, Mahrez, and my mostly joking throughout the match and after about everyone else.

I actually think this rating and summary from ESPN’s player ratings is spot on, if that means anything at all. I can’t speak for others that have criticised or praised him or other players.
