Ilkay Gundogan - 2018/19 performances

I don’t think he had much time last night to do anything. No criticism from me and I have been very sometimes over critical of him in the past. I think he has played well recently and there is an argument that perhaps he should of started last night in light of David’s worryingly poor form

Id expect an alleged world class midfielder,despite having only 20 mins or so,to at least have some sort of impact.Unfortunately,Newcastle put up a fight so he was anonymous again.

We really do need to give his minutes to a player that can influence,whether that's through the academy or va the cheque book.

He came on in the 83rd minute or something, granted he did fuck all but same can be said of our other subs and the rest of the team for that matter.

I agree,the rest of the team were poor,but he never does fuck all unless he's in a position to bully and that is why he pisses me off so much.
