Gundog had a very good game - albeit against lowly opposition, at home. He deserved a MoTM for it, and the fans here agreed in the majority. However, whether you like it or not, that doesn't change the fact that he is a downhill skier, proven time and time again, and not fit to shine the shoes of Fernandinho. Fernandinho has shone in the toughest of matches since day one, regularly.

No one has imagined this - this is his fourth year here, we've seen plenty of him to make this judgement. Stop trying to tell us that black is white thanks.

Just so we are clear. Your claim that Fernandihno is Better "in every facet of the game" is false. You don't even have to be an adult to know that.

From your diatribe above, it's clear even you get that. As you've tried to hide your original claim under the rubble of "Fernandihno is better." As if that was your original claim that was opposed. It wasn't.

For the record, Gundogan is better at breaking down defenses, at cohesion passing, at deflating pressure, better ball control, better vision, better crosser of the ball, better cross field passer. Frankly, there are few "in possession" DM skills he is not superior to Dihno in... One of the only ones may be driving forward with the ball. Even that, I think he might be as good but not necessarily better. "Goalscoring headers" might be the only offensive skill Dihno is clearly better than Gundogan at.

So for someone to claim Dihno is better 'AT EVERY' Facet of playing DM, is delusional.

Depends who is available. Full squad then no. As we are now then yes. To beat Liverpool you have to beat the press which he is very good at. Dino is also good but needed at CB, so yes for me he plays.

I think like most blues, I think, silky Ilkay is a better number six than a number ten. He’s better when everything is in front of him.
