we can all pick out specific games when we've taken loads away , and it would be nice to think that all Spurs fans are ugly fuckers who can't get girlfriends and so can take thousands up to Bolton for a televised match on Valentines day - but we just can't generate the kinds of numbers like they do - maybe with our owners vast wealth they can do things to help increase the numbers we have for cup games - cheap home tickets, free travel away - surely its all about getting that first bit of silverwear, and braking this 34 year hoodoo.

That is an honest post mate, with all due respect I think that a lack of money is a big problem for some of Manchester City fans at the present time in regards to not being able to go to some games and it is the same with most teams in the north to be honest about it, I can remember you all moaning about our £47 ticket prices for the game at WHL and rightly so, as our owners really do take the piss with their pricing policy.

in answer to an earlier thread Spurs actually had 4,800 at Bolton today and not the 3,000 stated on ITV.

Your funny. It's a Sunday night and your on a City forum telling us how many fans go to your games and how loyal they are. PMSL. The might Spurs eh, struggle to sell home games out of 36k.

You do realise that our FA Cup tie v Leeds United was a midweek game live on terrestrial television, and it was more importantly a "restricted ticket game", only Spurs members and season ticket holders could apply for tickets for that game, it was not allowed to go to general sale which makes a massive difference to how many tickets are going to be sold in total, and we still sold 3,200 tickets for that game despite those restrictions.

You also rather stupidly gave it large that City would "fill the whole end" at Leeds well done on that theory, you obviously didn't take into account the little fact that most of Tottenham's fans had a 400+ mile round trip to contend with where as you could virtually piss from from Manchester to Leeds in comparison.

So, do you think Spurs will sell out the games where it say 'general sale' .. How many does WHL hold, 36k. Yeah top class support at WHL, very hard to get tickets, blah blah blah.

Mate before giving it large try knowing your facts before spouting off in future, all of those games are already sold out, they come back on general sale as soon as our ticket exchange scheme kicks in and that is when a game has officially sold out.

Try phoning out ticket line and you will find that those games are SOLD OUT, the vast majority of Tottenhams home games are sold out Two months or so in advance hope that helps.

Er, yeah ok pal. I assume they just put that up there for fun then.... Its quite clear, some games say tickets unavailable and some games say tickets available. Can't even sell 36k eh, the might fucking Spurs. hahahah.

Not true. I know Wigan and Bolton definitely did, and Chelsea has.

Wigan and Bolton yeah, we did sorry. But Chelsea away has sold out because we have only taken an allocation of 1,500 rather than 3,000
How many did spurs take to Bolton? Not saying they took less or more but its just something I'd like to know. Did Spurs travel up the country in numbers (I know they do normally coz I've had a fair few fisticuffs with the bastards on Claremont)?[/quote]
Ignore me last question. I don't want Essex Yid spoting shiye at me.

Spurs have always been one of the best supported clubs in England. Although it does help having a higher number of toffs than usual for most football clubs. Not surprising that Northern football clubs have lower attendances for Cup games.

There's quite a few people live in that shithole they call a capital city anyway. So, by the laws of mathematics, they're a shitly supported team.

Could you please explain how I am spouting shit then based on what exactly ?, when I am quoting correct figures taken from the Tottenham Hotspur OFFICIAL SITE.

Spurs had an allocation of 4,800, on the 10th of Feb only 300 tickets were left for sale, so between 4,500 and 4,800 Spurs fans were at Bolton today.
