Inflation - when is this going to end?

I read the first 20 pages and couldn’t find a mention of the EU. No doubt I missed one or two references and I couldn’t be bothered going on searching. All the tables I’ve seen in recent days indicates our economy is performing badly compared with G7, as well as other major European countries.

No doubt lots of countries are struggling but we’ve inflicted a few more own goals on ourselves. It’s not surprising if as a nation we voted to pay for France to control our borders, allow people to vote in referendums who’ve taken up citizenship of other countries and fail to commit to sustainable food and energy production.

Brexit is what it is and we need to make the best of a bad situation. The only new thing I’ve read is that only 7mil of the 17mil who voted for Brexit are economically active in the U.K. so it is a dossers charter.
I should start at 25 and have another read, some are worse than those who use to blame everything bad on being in the EU now is the other way around. Wonder how many who voted to remain work in the public sector as we're making guesses.

Yes. One fact is our economy was 90% of Germany’s pre brexit and is now 70%.

Well, as somebody whose a Self employed business owner, you can exclude me from your count. People need to be honest enough to accept that Brexit has been an economic disaster, however well intentioned their vote. We need to crack on with more sustainable energy and food supplies now.

Russian war versus Ukraine. Lingering supply chain problems caused by COVID. Inflation is likely with us for a while longer.

If fuel increases as they've said next year then everything will rise again. It's fuel prices that's the problem as everything relies on fuel to get it grown, made, imported and into shops. We're fucked unless it's price drops rapidly.

Ive woke up this morning and feel nowt but doom n gloom.
The weather is utter shite, after yesterdays budget im much worse off financially, im a sole trader/limited company and have a choice of banging prices up to cover the rise in my over heads, but risk losing business as my customers have less disposable income or take the hit and in theory be on about 15% less than i was a year ago.

Feel like next years gonna be total wank
