How's everyone doin y'all?

Midway through the recovery week and cannot wait for month two!
Was injured for a few a days and had alot going on so I took a week of, started yesterday again and today was my first double session, diden´t have much energy left for the ab workout but I got through it. Starting week 3 tommorow and feeling great. How much weight if any have you lost?

Goin to boots for the weigh in with the mrs on sunday.
Lost 3lb in the first 2 weeks, a further 3 after week 3.
will keep you posted

Flu sent it all wrong, but carried on with diet and usual press up, sit up, squat workout. I was 29 days in but seeing as its nearly 2 weeks going to start from fit test 1. luckily flu has kept weight off, can't wait to get started again, glad to see you all still doing amazingly, we need photos from Philinho and Tragic, non gay of course. City til we die, Insanity til we die.

Its photo day Monday also. So maybe.
On a side note I bought some accu-measure body fat calipers off amazon the other day for £6, if anyone requires motivation these are fantastic.
Got weighed in boots and usually do the 'hold the handles on the machine' thing for body fat, I normally hover around 20%, pre-insanity(according to the machine) and after 2 weeks was 18.4%, very pleased.
After week 3 and losing another 3lbs it said I had gone up to 20.1% (cue bad mood all day)

Later on I did some googling on these machines and found out they are not that accurate and swotted up on how much calipers cost (fuck all) and how to use them (piece of piss) and also if they are more accurate (VERY)
Measured with these and I am currently 9.8%!!! I have had to take the measurement 8 times and got several people to do it for me as I couldnt believe it! (I'm also in the process of forcing everyone Who visits to be measured to ensure I feel smug but mainly to make sure I dont have defective calipers!)

Anyway, the end result is that I am MOTIVATED beyond words.
Just thinking it might help for those who are losing only a little weight, weight loss i think massively depends on your shape when you start out on this.

Just made the error of previewing month 2, day 1.
Fuck doing the fitness test THEN that straight after!

Fitness test today it is, bye bye day of rest.

I'm going to give this ago, is this the product everyone is using?

No, that's P90X which I think is similar to Insanity, but more about muscle building than general fitness... you need other stuff with this like dumbells, resistance bands and what not. With Insanity you just need the dvds and a mop to clear up your blood sweat and tears...

It's this one <a class="postlink" href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Insanity-Ultimate-Workout-Fitness-Programme/dp/B002QZ1RS6/ref=sr_1_1?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1349706209&sr=1-1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.amazon.co.uk/Insanity-Ultima ... 209&sr=1-1</a>

Thanks mate, all ordered.

Started month 2 today.

Remember how you felt after the first proper day of month 1??? well its back!!!
Would strongly recommend doing the fit test the day before, not on the same day as the calender suggests.
Dont think I would have made it otherwise.

It will be worth it mate.
After easy week I was cream crackered after the fit test and there is no way I could have gone on to do max interval circuit (or at least do it in a way that made it worthwhile)

Done month 2, day 1 - Max Circuit...

Absolutely shattered...

I feel your pain mate.

All this week is tough but that one (so far) was the worst for my money.
I think it makes it harder that its a new routine and I had got so used to the old ones, I hate it when I dont know what I'm supposed to be doing.

Did you do the fit test same day or the day before?

didn't get chance to do it yesterday, might do it tonight but probably won't bother to be honest...
Glad to hear that's the worst one, full body drills are murder.
You must have done almost all the month 2 videos by now?

Just realised that I have as the cardio abs one is the same as month 1.
Yeah i would say that is the worst (max plyo is not far off tho)
Just done max circuit again for the second time tonight and feel well better about it, still kicked the shit out of me but as long as I perform better than the last time I did it then I'm happy if you know what I mean.

Very similar to the start of month one if you think back, 1st time out on plyo I was ready to die, by the end of month one I was loving it, this is the same I think.

If I was doing it over I would have flicked through the work outs before doing them. Nothing worse than trying to learn the new routine when Shaun is rushing through and you brain is fecked cos you are totally knackered.

I have started it again, I do prefer the first month if I am honest. Dont know what it is but I sweat more on the first on than i did on the second month.

I imagine it will be easier to put more effort in the first one. Are you still getting good results?
Plus trying to find an hour and a half everyday for month 2 is going to be difficult...

actually, decided to stop being a pansy and stick it out...
max cardio conditioning done tonight and feel well pleased
