Thing is I dont mind people that exhale heavily or grunt a bit. Its fucking hard work and hurts at times but some bloke in my gym has his ipod turned up to 13 so as long as he is on the same continent as you you can hear it, talks to himself encouragement wise and then makes more noise than a harpooned whale while doing any form of lifting. He is a **** and I hate him
No but there is a line, those people who just start grunting and screaming and its like, mate your doing 1kg dumbells what is the fuss?

Maybe they're not as strong as you?



My pet hate is people who get snobby about those people who can't lift as much weight. Especially when they do their 100kg curls and it transpires that their form is shit, they swing the weight and use 1/4 ROM.

Yup! It sounds stupid but sometimes especially when I am fatigued I need to motivate myself, focus and get in the zone. One big barrier to this are fucking talkers. There's a pub next door, why not have your chat in there? People in their 40s/50s are as guilty as the youngsters that go.

Just hit day 4 myself, been tougher than I thought it would be to be honest, even though I've been pretty inactive the past 3 or 4 months I still made it to the gym a few times a week , but goddamn I'm sore.

Highly likely it is mate, I've lost over 10lbs in 2 days before now, but I was ill as fuck lol.

wait until the start of month 2 really hard but then u just get use to it . iv got a week left my starting weight 16 st 11lb I got down to 15 st 6 lb but haven't weighed for 9 days I feel and look much better so keep it up guys the fat will drop off
 
I might try insanity as I can do it from home. It's just the diet thing that scares me. I probably only go on the piss once a fortnight. I can still do this, just need to stick with mixers and low calorie drinks. Just need to keep motivation. I've got a bit of time this weekend so Ill use those recipes you pm'd me DH!! I am not too bothered about definition, that is probably more of a bonus (Cant say I wouldnt mind it!) Losing the tummy and having a flat pecks is the aim.

If you have been going to the gym 3 times a week and need to do insanity what were you doing at the gym?

I signed up to a 6 month contract to the worst dw on earth so I basically just drink smoothies, hit on eastern euros, do a rowing machine hiit style , incline press, stand in line for a place to do squats/dead lifts,get frustrated at standing in line and go home . Think more so I been eating shittier and drinking more than average so it's catching up
