I wanted to ensure that I didn't lose my strength whilst doing Insanity as all I wanted to do was burn fat.
I managed to drop 2 stone whilst keeping the same strength and lose 6" off the waist and get abs and V back.
I bulked up over winter you see to 17 1/2 stone, now I am after keeping the muscle I built but getting the leaner, vein-y look. Dropped body fat (using callipers) from 22% to 11%. I think if I would have stopped weight training then I would have seriously lost a fair amount of muscle strength.
