Good stuff, should you want to examine the arguments.
I've heard bits and pieces of this as it was late and long, however I'll post it hear if you want to listen and maybe discuss. There are moments of truth and accuracy, genius, rambling, 'ridicule' and questionable thought processing. It's a REAL mixed bag!!
Rogan interviews Kanye West
You could fill this thread with Joe rogan stuff. Great interviewer, not limited my TV timescales so really gets into good discussion by letting things evolve pretty naturally.
Yes, but to an extent I think his success is the ability to morph according to the guest and be led. I think most interviewing Mike tyson or Alex Jones for example would feel the need to adopt a position or signal personal disapproval when it comes to the interviewees 'darker' aspects.Absolutely, I agree.
However, he's at fault for being led, sometimes, so he'll say some dumb shit.
But, he's a 'real world' person and it takes him a while to re-evaluate his original thinking.

Not seen that one, I'll give it a watch.Again, agreed.
Although I wish he would not be afraid to question (or push back for the Yanks) his guests at times. He did so brilliantly against Dan Crenshaw, who flapped his gums on a reply about socialism. It was embarrassing to witness an "asshole" take apart a politician with a (an accidental?) salient question.
But, yes, it's a great skill to let the guest relax enough to be themselves, thus allowing a fuller inspection of the character.
