Picked up my euros this morning, not long now:)

Winds up to hurricane strength, storms and torrential rain forecast for the next few days in northern Germany, quite possibly spreading to the south after that.
Bad weather warning just released by the German Met office.

Scaremongerer!!!!!!!!!!!

I've checked it out on 5 or 6 different westher sites, and it's going to be positively balmy! 5 or 6 degrees maximum (and that's NOT Fahrenheit!).

Dont think Bayern is scaremogering, i have heard the same as i posted earlier heavy snow over Manc this weekend as well....hope not but iv heard it off various sources

They are definately giving out storm reports although currently next week is expected to be milder.

They have Munich at 0 degrees atm.

I am on the 10.55am Sunday with Lufthansa returning 3.30 pm on the Thursday......Been working in Munich for the last 12 months until a few weeks ago and went to the last group match at the Allianz this time last year when Bayern played Bate from Belarus. It was about -15 on the night.....make sure you are all wrapped up or full of Augustiner !!

my plan of action is

land in germany 16:45 local time sunday... get to hotel for around 18:00 (hopefully) then straight to the christmas markets (closest possible)

monday: we have a table booked for 40 people at hoffbrauhouse then maybe go else where after..

tuesday: augustine all day!!! then game obviously lol
