64GB is still the memory cap on iPods. Why?

Not sure Bob. There was a screencap of a forum which said there wouldn't be a 128gb version from before the keynote, which confirmed this by just listing the 64gb.

Again, maybe a 128gb out of the box would have been something to push the 5 above some competitors for customers. Possibly they had to sacrifice it due to the decision to go slimmer and lighter. Can only fit so many matches in a matchbox.<br /><br />-- Wed Sep 12, 2012 7:45 pm --<br /><br />

Had an iphone 4 and 4s... At first you seem so excited about the phone but as time goes by i miss the HTC i used to have. Mostly because of flash plyer though, used to watch all sorts of things on that.

If you get the phones PAYG from Carphone Warehouse the 4S 16GB is £489.99 and the S3 16GB is £519.95. That's a difference of 6%. The cheapest Insignia is £15,958 and the cheapest 5 series is £27,739. That's a difference of 74%. One is in the same price bracket, the other isn't. As I said, your analogy is flawed.

No, it's the 4S price with no price reduction. It's the same price it was back in 2011. The 5 will apparently be the same price as the 4S is now and the 4S will get a price cut. That's why I used that price.
