I have a 4k stick on one tv and a lite on the other, both work perfectly well. I can't see it makes any difference. (other than the 4k reception which I'm not bothered about).Oh and as someone else said get a 4K stick.

I had to reset my 4k stick the other day…suddenly started freezing after a few clicks…couldn’t get anything out of it…works like a charm again now…Might be heading towards resetting firestick to factory settings and reload everything again
