Have to say I've been very impressed with his development, been a real highlight of the season for me.

But I'm not keen on contract renegotiations on the basis of 6 months of top quality work though. Ideally we would sit him down at the end of the season and tell him he will be getting a payrise, whether we're contractually obliged to or not. Then we'll start talking new contracts, with similar payrises if he continues to perform as well as he has been.

Have to say though, he is the typical City hero, slightlyflaky, but a cut above the ordinary.
