Ireland Leaving - Absolute Disaster

A limited player who has played right wing, left wing, defensive midfield, box to box midfield, attacking midfield, and as a 2nd striker? No, he's not limited - and to say that ignores the facts completely.

Well he's played in those positions, just not very well. And he whinged about it afterwards. You can't say he isn't limited when he only seems to want to play in one position, which is a position that requires us to shift the team around to accomodate him

The only reason you and most people wouldn't mind Stevie leaving is because we're rich enough to buy a better player and and don't need to try and get the best out of him. Seems, I don't know, a little silly to compare it to when SWP or Kinky left.

I'd say it's more to do with the fact that Stevie has given us very little this season and the current squad has done fine without him.

Great post by the way Immaculate Pasta

I think DD gets a little too passionate at times, but dont we all.

He knows his football without question but Dave answer me a question

Should Ireland be telling people club matters that he knows damn well will end up on here and cause a split in the fans?

Its rank amateur stuff and not that of a proffesional footballer

Whilst this information is about Stephen Ireland it is not from Stephen Ireland.

Let's just make this distinction right now.

Let's just say that someone cares enough to want it in the public domain.

and now DD's having tactical rethink by wearing a hairshirt until his next sortie. In order to keep in character he might decide to offer apologies to all those posters he duped into believing his thread was about Superman, or even to Mancini for his relentless vilification, or to the Club for them having to deal with the fallout from the deliberate de-stabilisation - or even to Ireland for using his lack of form as a stick to beat the manager - I'm sure Stephen would appreciate it.

I'd appreciate you stop coming out with piles of pompous, delusional shite.

"Deliberate destabilisation"? "Tactical rethink"? "Endless vilification"?

You carry on believing in the Power of Bluemoon as a life-changing medium, mate.

It's quite touching to be honest.

I am with Johnny on this. You cannot deny that you don't want Mancini at the club. Nothing wrong with that. I didn't want your boy Hughes. However I refrained from attacking him on here until he had had a season despite pathetic results re Forest, Brighton, WBA etc..

You on the other hand have been attacking Roberto since day one. Overtly and covertly.

Stock Cabal response number 3: scornful accusation of poster's delusion/ignorance

careful DD your doppelganger's showing.

Have we all come around to accepting he's really not that good and was only made to look good in a crap team last year??

Serious question; looking back now (marvellous thing, hindsight!), do you think "absolute disaster" might have been ever so slightly OTT?

if he went to them over the road it would.
Disappointing? Certainly. A knife in the back? Definitely. A disaster? Not even close. As someone else posted a few pages back, in relation to City at this point in time, ADUG "taking the ball home" would be a disaster.

i would be gutted to see him leave. if he went to arsenal it would be the best of a bad situation cause i think he would fit in from the start, and would be playing great football.
however if he went to the devils club manure then i might actually drive me to tears.
he is city through and through and a true great at this club.

Get your fact right.

I wanted Hughes out, for quite a while before he went. And I was pleased with Mancini's appointment.

I'll dig you some posts outif you don't believe me, which blow your ridiculous conspiricy theory out the water.

I also do not want Mancini out. I want to judge him at the end of the season, not before. 3 months is not long enough. I've posted this many times. He's done some things I've been impressed with and some I haven't.

Anyone who want to laud him as a genius after 3 months is daft, just as anyone who wants to boot him out ofter 3 months is daft.

He has a clear 6 month remit, to finish in the top four. If he pulls that off I will be ecstatic and it wil be a phenomenal acheivement.

Just because I, and several others, have put information out there about "rumours" of other managers, doesn't mean to say that it's my agenda to get them in. Some of you appear blind to that fact.

I don't have an "agenda" except to have interesting debate about City. It's a bloody football forum, not the houses of parliament.
