IF you actually take time out to listen to him he is bang on what he is saying about some of the young players. correct me if i,m wrong but i remember a thread during our recent pre season tour of the USof A when someone said they were on the same flight home as some of the kids and they were wankers!!! stevie actually said they were snobs walking round with 10.000 pound watches on their arms and boasting about having 200 pairs of trainers!! These kids are running before they can walk and basically that it was he was trying to say. Pink wheel trims, wig, dead grandmothers , fishtank, bla, fucking blah..... this guy was and will always be a special player, and one who will always be remembered at this club. time moves on and so do players.... good luck at villa superman,top man and a top professional.

IF what he said about the youth players is correct then someone should have a word with them.

But it certanly shoudn't be him giving them tips on how to live their life. He has a shed load of expensive(tasteless) custom cars, he quit the Irish team and lied about his reasons, he wore a wig, slags off every manager once they have gone and states how good the present one is, he openly said that he didn't care about the result if he didn't play and outside of 6months done next to nothing tin a City shirt.

Thanks for the heads-up about the attitude of the youth team stephen but i think someone else should take it from here!

Swp was on another level to Stevie I when we sold him to Chelsea. He pretty much destroyed teams week in week out, Ireland was jekyll and hyde in his one and only good season .

He always frustrated me, one week a god the next I may as well have played in midield (and I am a goalie..........but at least I would have tried)

Most of his comments are fair enough and the typical bitter musings of a player who's lost face and been forced out of a club going places, no hard feelings for those. The bit about him not being bothered if we lost when he's on the bench is disgusting though. Shameful in fact.

For the record I'm quite looking forward to watching Bellers playing for Cardiff this season and I may have them as my Championship team of choice this year. Stevie Ireland and Villa I won't care about too much I think.
