Ireland speaks out [Merged]

It's easy have a dig at Stevie now and be under the illusion he's no great loss since Mancini rendered him all but useless in our setup. How quick some are to forget what a talent he is, if villa get a good manager that encourages him to express himself and to do what comes naturally, attack, he'll prove himself again. There's a very realistic chance that in 3 months time Ireland is knocking them in for Villa, Bellamy's single handed winning the championship and Roberto Mancini's out of a job.

Or there's a good chance that Ireland still hasn't got a position and is being kept out the team by Reo-Coker, Bellamy is out injured for 2 months and we're top of the league.

Stevie has every right to be upset. He was fast on his way to becoming a legend here until the negative italian showed up. Why is Mancini immune from criticism? He's shown Ireland, Bellamy and Given the door, our 3 best performers under Hughes. Mancini has done NOTHING in the way of building team spirit, this not speaking to players carry on from a supposedly top manager is unacceptable, his man management skills are non existent.

Hi Mark, how's life in Fulham treating you?

On the other hand Bellamy could have had a barney with Dave Jones, Ireland could be sulking on Villa's bench and Mancini has a good chance of doing well with a squad who have the mental strength to be winners.

^^^^^the winner^^^^^

Players come and players go, but City always remain, sad to see him go, but we need a but of closure now don't you think, it's obvious that some people held Stevie in very high regard, perhaps they knew him outside of football?

Time to move on now for everyone

Can't help thinking mancini has thrown the rope and Ireland has hung himself with his childish comments...and so far as Ireland being on his way to becoming a city legend..Legends tend to perform for more than one season..and give a shit, even as a sub.especially in derbies.

Ireland had 6/7 good months in 5yrs so i doubt he will be 'knocking them in', he'll be lucky to get in the team after they see a couple of his 'performances'

Bellamy has won very little in his entire career(let a lone his injury record) so i seriously doubt he will be 'single handly' winning anything let alone a very competative division

As for Mancini, who knows. but he/city has a better chance of winning something without a mard arse who are not prepared to fight for their place and who have now(after pocketing the wages for a year) state he didnt really care what the result was
