Agree with this actually. Strange strategy to not strengthen a already strong squad. We only won on goal diff.

However Aguero will be better this season after completing a full PL Season. I would like to see a center hal and if De Jong goes another midfielder.

I wouldn't be worried even if we don't sign anyone.

We've got four top strikers (we got by with three most of last season).

I don't share the anxieties surrounding the CB position. The first choice 2 are the league's best and Kolo is good experienced cover. Micah is the logical fourth choice and both Savic and Boyata will be a year older and wiser and should be adequate for emergency/Carling Cup duties.

In midfield we've let go of Hargreaves and Pizarro, but we've still got players like Milner and AJ who can't get a regular start. I'd promote Razak and maybe Weiss to the first team squad and give em some bench and Carling Cup time.

Not worried but starting to get a bit apprehensive. We need cover in some key positions Namely cb/centre mid and wingers. If we don't bring anybody in in those positions whether it be somebody who gets a starting spot and pushed somebody else down to cover or just comes in as cover then i think we could struggle next year if we are unlucky with a few injuries.

We had our fair share of injuries last season but luckily they never really came together. imagine if Kompany and lescott were out for a few weeks or barry and yaya were both missing. We'd struggle a bit then imo.

Not too sure were looking to sign anyone significant...Mancini complained last season that he wanted signings in early to join pre-season training...I would suppose his attitude hasn't changed although the Euro's has interfered with signings no doubt.

Look at the improvements in the squad we have now, without any signings;

Team has won the EPL, overall confidence must be up massively.
Aguero will be in his 2nd season in the EPL.
Tevez will be involved for a full season, we played the season with 3 strikers.
Weiss and Razzac available for first team shirts.
Start the season with a settled centre half pairing.
Start the season with a settled left back first choice in Cliche.
Silva's injury which affected his perfromances is sorted.
Nasri came good towards the end of last season and hopefully continues.
Mancini has worked out a system to break down stubborn defences pushing Yaya further forward.
All of City's players had a good Euro campaign and our players were the 2nd highest scorers behind Madrid!!!

Silva and Kompany signing new contracts is top priority.

Other than that we need a CB for sure as Kolo and Savic are not good enough and not sure Richards can be trusted there.

If we have the cash then a top quality midfielder would be a priority over a striker for me. Having said that I dont want the rags getting Van persie so would be ok with Tevez departing and VP coming in.

If we sign no one though we should still be top 3 and possibly domestic cups but would not do well in Europe in my opinion.

Getting Ade and RSC off the books is my main worry.
We have plenty ammo to deal with anybody in the premiership already.
Would be quite happy if "moneybags" City spent nothing in this transfer window...

At the moment no as I do think we will start signing players in the next few weeks but I would be worried if we ending up signing no players or just one. We really need some CB cover, a extra cm and a winger imo.

This. Plenty of time left, but a quality centre half and a fleet footed winger are essentials in my book if we are to successfully defend our title. You stand still in this league, you go backwards, simple as.
