Is Chelsea on Wednesday the make or break match?

i don't agree with Tolmie, I think we won't win at least 1 home game and 2 away games.

even if we drop just 2 more points, we still won't win the league.

The maths say different, though.

Dropping two more points sees us finish on 94 (as long not to United)

United dropping three points to us - they also finish on 94

I still think the goal difference will come into play.

and we piss arsed about v Fulham, Bolton and Blackburn instead of giving each of them the 6/7-0 thrashing they deserved.

United have slashed it to 3, they have easier games and will overtake us on GD by the end of the season imo.

when the rags get an easy home game, more often than not the opposition is in for a thrashing.

I was merely pointing to the facts as they stand in terms of the maths, games left.

We're really starting to get into the realms of the ridiculous by estimating how many goals United might also score.

We do our own team a disservice.

I agree, we should have gone for the jugular way more in the games you cite, but with home games against Sunderland, West Brom and QPR, coupled with Wolves, away, and a game in hand v Chelsea, it is United who fucked up at Wolves with five on the board with half an hour to go.

Are we good enough to drop just two more points? Most definitely.

In fact, if someone offered me the scenario now of nine more wins (inc United) and a draw, regardless of what we score, I'd snap your fucking hands off.

The rest would be in the lap of the Gods.

Doesn't look like United intend droppin' ANY points ....

for that reason alone we MUST beat Chelsea , and win the rest of our fixtures ... including United at home!

You just need to look at the matches coming up to see where we can drop 2 points. Chelsea, Stoke, Sunderland, Arsenal, U****d, Newcastle... QPR seems to be easy match left and, if Hughes teams are anything to go by, they'll be a shit to play against.

Someone pass me a tissue.

I dreamt last night that Tevez scored the winner against Chelsea, it was an open net tap in after our winger (who had long ginger hair tied in a ponytail) shot and hit the post.

We will beat Chelski and Stoke and that will put us on top by two points, the pressure will be on them.

Then we will win at home to Sunderland, again putting the pressure on them.

Whilst they have the easier run in I do think Everton, Swansea and Sundeland (away) will be having a say in their overall points tally. In the first instance we need to focus on getting 9 points from the next three games.

Keep the faith!!

Everton will roll over as usual for Taggart as they have Neville and Moyes both massive rags.

Not forgetting Timmy T and Darron Gibson. 4-0 job that game.

Still think we can do it IF we beat Chelsea.
