I'm probably just as shocked as you but he's right. For the last six games, at least, Javi Garcia played the full ninety whilst Fernandinho was restricted to substitute appearances.

It's worth pointing out, however, that Fernandinho hadn't yet become exclusively a defensive mid. That's something that slowly happened in his late twenties and he grew into it brilliantly.
