Is it true Aguero can't be banned? (Update P43)

He is very lucky not to be banned for that, thought Luiz took it well by not complaining although
It would have hurt.

They've not banned him because Sergio Aguero single handedly ensured the new negotiated TV deal was of stratospheric proportions. He should be given a card amnesty for as long as he's in the league as far as I'm concerned.

it's a good thing his new boots are so slippery they couldn't even stick to Luiz' legs enough to draw blood :)

I have no idea or defense as to why this isn't a retro ban. Mario received one for much, much less. Maybe we've just been so abused by Balotelli, a player whom the media, FA, refs, and pretty much everyone else really seemed to have it in for that we've lost sight of how inept the FA usually is at making these decisions.

Really? You have NO idea or defence.
Let me explain. Under the FA rules if the referee 'sees' the event then the FA cannot take any retro action.
Stupid rule in my view and Sergio was lucky but there is your explanation.

So is Glory Glory. They're livid (because they have to face him this weekend now most likely even though they won't admit it.)

I'm loving this!
Here's a few quotes from the comments section of SKY Sports News on this topic:

'What an absolute disgrace! Same old Man City getting everything there own way. And I'm an Everton fan'

'Amazing FA,simply amazing.. Just wonder what headlines would have been if Terry made such challenge? Have no doubt red carded straight away and hang by all media Not that this post will be printed - media dont like truth So,what is your purpose then FA ? Collect money and support those who bribes you ? '

'Nice to see the FA are their usual consistent selves. It was a shocking tackle done deliberately and should have received the correct punishment. Looks as though City get away with a lot now they are one of the bigger clubs'.

Don't ya just love it!!

Absolutely delighted that Kun is to face no further action. Have to say though, that the FA's disciplinary procedures are a joke. It was a red card, as was Luiz's elbow into his chest. As was Rooney's two footed lunge last monday. As was MacManaman's assault on the Newcastle player a few weeks back. As was, was was, as was etc etc (repeat and rinse).

Not saying this as part of the agenda stuff, but isn't it funny how fans of their respective clubs see how other clubs get treated?
