LB is a big problem and has been for years. Angelino, Zinchenko, Mendy none of them close to the standard needed. A real quality LB would improve the team tremendously.

Finding one is another matter.

I think it's more likely that Mendy will be first choice if we don't sign a new LB with Cancelo and Ake as backup.

Angelino was good in the Dutch league, was good in the German league and will probably be good in the Spanish league, he is cheap Spanish and on low wages, non of that makes him good in the English league

My point is if he was not a city player he would have been in consideration for a LB position.

Yes of course it is. We havent signed a decent LB for decades. You could argue that Tarnat was our last decent proper left back.
