Is Manchester airport the worst in Europe?

Flew out of T1 this morning and no issues at all. Busy, but all moved fine and through check in and security in about 40 minutes.
 
Flew out of T2 on Wednesday afternoon. Through security in a beeze, but the Joe Holt bar was an absolute disgrace. Queued up for 20 mins to get in. One young girl showing people to a specific table when loads were available and dirty plates and glasses on them when we got there. Me and the Mrs had a stout and a wine ,17quid, sat a a table that wasn't cleared for 30 mins. God knows what visitors to our region think.

It's grim up north maybe?
 
The revamp of T2 appears to have created less space and less opportunity to actually get in anywhere for food or drink. It worse to be in than before the money was spent.

So they gave you the reality of a Joey Holts pub? How was the carpet??
 
Flew out and in to terminal 1 the other week to Santorini.

FIne going out, but it was busy and not many seats in the pubs. Can't imagine it gets better over the summer.

Coming back 90 mins from plane to receiving bags via passport control. Which is shit... Then had a 25 minute wait for shuttle bus to Jetparks ringway
 
The joys of going abroad for a bit of sunshine and rest you don’t have this problem in Wales or the sun

Then flight diverted to Málaga hour wait before taking off again .ok can't blame Manchester airport for that .but got here to be told our case hadn't been put on the plane

pretty sure I was on that flight - going to gibraltar last monday?

couldn't believe when he announced we were landing in malaga due to the fault.

At least we took off again I was expecting to be told coaches are waiting for you

yeah that is true & wasn't too long a wait in the end.

I was going on to marbella from GIB so asked if I could get off in Malaga as didn't matter either way, but the flight attendant said no!
