Is now the time to consider Mancini's tenure at the club

This is not the time to consider the managers position unless you are looking for instant success or never really wanted him in the first place.

i disagree , now is the ideal time to replace him , theres enough games left for any new manager to really rally the team, and challenge united
otherwise pray for a second miracle

You don't win a league because of a miracle, you win it because you were the better team over the course of the season.

It wasn't a miracle last season. We won more matches at the end than they did - we also scored more goals. No miracle - just that we were better.

I truly hope that the City manager is not sacked (ever) for ONE season when the team goes slightly backwards - especially if like Mancini they have been successful.
We must give our manager the full length of their contract (another 2.5 years at least for Mancini till the contract break-clause when City or Mancini can back out) unless they are totally rank - as Hughes was.

Secure job tenure will allow the City manager to build long term time success!

The issue is though for us to build towards the future it is vital to comply to FFP. To comply to that you need to be successful in Europe and for all his domestic success Mancini seems clueless in the CL.

We are six points worse off than last season and we had a bad January, those points can be made up. If we get more points than last season but come second is that an improvement or not?

I agree but you'll just get the "anyone could have done it with his resources" reply from those arrogant enough to think it is easy to win the PL

I am always suspicious of posters with usernames that are all in lower case with no gaps between the words.

We embarrassed ourselves in Amsterdam in a game which was absolutely crucial to our hopes.

Do you hold the players accountable in anyway for our performances in Amsterdam? Or is it all down to Mancini?

Absolutely all down to Mancini. We came out in the second half much improved on the way we started the first, and Ajax scored their goal from a set piece against the run of play. Mancini immediately subbed Lescott for Kolarov in his fury, completely disjointed the back four in the process, and Ajax scored a third within 5 minutes thus killing the game.
Just thought i would ask while your blaming mancini for his mistakes, which is fair enough
What about moo is it down to him they are 16 points behind in la liga
Is it Poor management?
You or dave have never answered the question on this thread for some reason
