Is now the time to consider Mancini's tenure at the club

I would be disappointed if Mancini was still in charge next season. He just doesn't seem learn his lessons.

End of season we have to make a big decision. Until that no reason to change even if I dont really like Mancini as his CL failings will be always a constant thing and for City that is not acceptable.

Saving his job with domestic success is what Mancini is all about, at Inter, at City it's the same.

Mancini needs to go. As a fan born in Salford, now in Burnage, have supported city for forty odd years. I have been to Wemley 3 times and watched us win the league with Mancini but... This season we have not strengthened but gone backwards, may not be Mancinis fault, but we are 7 points behind the worst United team in memory. He cannot motivate this team, Aguerro looks awful this year, and despite huge amounts of possession we are frankly, boring to watch. Now before people come over all giddy, football is a sport, not life or death, Mancini isn't going to struggle to get another job but we are going nowhere at the minute. I will be eternally grateful for the last 3 years but when my club has needed huge amounts of cash to compete we cannot get sentimental over the manager.

Things won't get better with Mancini then last season.

There's only one step to improve on, that's Europe. We won't win the title every year for 20 years, no team does.

If some fans had thier way, i think we'd end up being a laughing stock like Chelsea, where no right minded successful manager should take the hot seat.

Add that to the fact there's a real lack of talented managers that would build up a potential
candidate list and i think we've got plenty more from Mancini, a decent Jan transfer window would help.

Imagine our team if we'd got Mancini transfer targets of the last couple of windows: Sanchez, Hazard, Ibra, Thiago Silva and Javi Martinez.

With financial fair play we cannot continue to keep signing a load of class a players. Surely after winning the league all that was need was a couple of decent pacy players. Plus instead of us continuing to buy players can our manager not adapt his tactics at places like Everton and Sunderland?

Chelsea the laughing stock that has won three Championships in seven years, are European Champions and FA Cup holders, are one point behind us in the league if the beat Southampton at home and are nailed on to win the League Cup?

A club where no proven manager such as Mourinho or Benitez would ever up, or where Guardiola is tipped to end up.

Trouble is, Mancini can't get his own way with a £100 million of new players every window so there comes a point where he might, just might have to start relying on some kind of tactical nouse instead.
