Is now the time to consider Mancini's tenure at the club

Does anyone not think that bringing in Txiki Beguiristain as director of football may have further implications? After all he is the mentor of one Pepe Guardiiola who mysteriously left Barca to allegidly take a break from football.

Hmm wonder how Bobby must feel right now, after the horror show in Amsterdam he his arse must be touching cloth right.

Eh? "Mysteriously"? "Allegedly"?

Dont be silly i think Mancini might get the players he wants with this guy.

Makes you think thought doesn't it all a bit cosy new CEO comes in fetch's his mate in next. You have to admit there are some questions been asked about Mancini right now Pepe must be hot property right now.

Spot on Baildon blue, this move is one of a number of key actions our owners have taken for the long game.

The football club is bigger than all, if bobby does suffer a fall (i sincerely hope he doesn't) then the job goes on and having successful people around increases the probability of finding any replacement and indeed that replacement being successful.

Bobby you would think will have been in the loop re this appointment, it would be foolish by those we thank for the investment into our club to begin mind games that could impact on the team and performances!!! wouldn't it???

A director of football decided who he wants to sign, Mancini will hardly get a look in!

Txiki has been brought in to implement his vision, buying and selling players to fit his vision is his job!

No... but please for the love of fuck stop subbing Tevez and give the woefully wasteful Aguero a stint on the bench.

-- 26 Dec 2012, 17:16 --

I think he's come in due to the rise and rise of the Barca academy as its something our owners want to replicate.

Most of the stars at Barca came through their ranks, its not like he turned Barca from mid table to world dominance with established name signings.

Mancini's one saving grace in the last few years has been his domestic form. Even during our absolutely shite European tours, we've done reasonably well either in the league (Champions) or in cups (FA Cup win, Carling Cup semi). But this year has been woeful. We've only played well 3 or 4 times, and gone out in the cup to a shocking Villa side.

This team has gone backwards. You can't blame that on the signings, because we have the same core players as last season. His substitutions can only be described as wank, the system he has tried to change us to is shite and the football we play is even worse. It seems like every game these days when we need to score in the last minute! It's simply not good enough.

That being said, he should be given chance to turn it around. He's led us into one of the best periods of our history, we can't bin him at the first hurdle when we're finally at the top.
But we need to change how we're playing. Now.

Mancini in. For now.
