Is now the time to consider Mancini's tenure at the club

Im still on Mancinis side. Hes built enough credit to merit this season at the very least, but he is worrying me with his inability to change. We were begging for width tody and he left sinclair on the bench. We are too narrow, much like mancinis vision at the moment.

No excuses for these recent appalling performances. Mancini has to win the league to have any chance of being our manager next season and that is looking slimmer with every incoherent performance we put in.

We were nothing short of abysmal today and Saturday and for this there are no excuses

I'll admit I've seen no highlights of the match but we lost due to what sounded like a lucky goal from Johnson. The Pundits were saying he didn't even realise it went in. Is that an abysmal performance from City? 57% possession and 12 shots on target too.

If I'm wrong then I'll hold my hands up but it just didn't happen for us today.

Hadn't looked at it like that, good post.

But how many times do we have to make excuses when the result doesn't go our way? Against the rags, blame went on Nasri when in truth it was a shit performance. Against Real Madrid, Joe was apportioned the blame. Today it's the ref. Against Norwich and Stoke it might be someone else. Is it that difficult to admit to our ineptitude at times?

Sad bastards.

No offence but personally I think the sad bastards are the ones who have fuck all to say about the match (because we were shite), yet are on threads like this like flies on shit calling all and sundry rags for thinking Mancini isn't up to the job.

Some of you need to get a grip and accept that Mancini won't be universally loved (it's very rare that managers are).

Like Dave, who's spent more time telling posters 'what he expects of them' than actually commenting on the game?

I can only speak for myself, (i'm not the biggest Mancini fan by any stretch) and i don't think people want Mancini to be universally loved but its the vocal minority, who i can only liken to United in their arrogance & their inability to comprehend or discuss anyone else's point of view that's stopped me getting involved in football threads on here for a while. It feels like it always ends up as a pointless exercise.

You're wrong. Very wrong. It was a socking performance as was Saturday
Shocking? give over you drama queen.

Today's the first time I've wanted Mancini out, we fucked up in the summer, for 16million we could shirley have got better than Garcia, he can't find a settled partnership up front, for the money he's spent we should have a stronger squad.

Another troll just dying to make the thread about me and billy. The only point you've made which could loosely be called a 'football' point was that 'we can't win the league 20 years on the trot'. The sort of thing a 6 year old says.

yes its time to consider his tenure, in fact fuxk him off now, oooo he won us FA cup and league, wrong millions of pounds did, like i said on another thread, Redknapp won FA cup with pompy and got spurs from bottom to CL in a year without spending Mancini type money, the choices he makes are a joke at times and the longer he is here the longer we are wasting players at this club we could never of dreamed about watching, get someone in who tells great footballers to go and play great football, not one who thinks its better to play Dzeko over Tevez against per mertasacker, that one selection alone should tel everyone the man has not got a clue

Absolutely no point sacking Mancini mid-season. Whatever chance he has of retrieving the gap during the season, it would be easier for him than a new man coming in ''cold'', so to speak. However; if (as seems likely now) we don't retain the league, I'd be very surprised if RM was still with us next August, particularly if Mourinho and/or Guardiola are available. The owners will be looking for ''year-on-year'' progress. Winning (at best) the FA Cup after winning the league last season is hardly progress. I would take a guess that they would also be looking for significant improvement in our piss poor Champions' League form. Is Bob the man to deliver on that front?

Nope, nothing against Billy, had many decent discussions with him on here.

Resorting to talking about trolls and kids. "I expected better from you".
