Is now the time to consider Mancini's tenure at the club

sergio, carlos, edin and mario are all great strikers. there is something wrong for their lack of goals and for me it surely isn't their fault. we have a very slow build up except from some 20-25 minutes like newcastle away and some other games. our tempo of the game is really slow and that is everytime the manager's fault. some may say we have the possesion, but that says nothing as long as we don't create chances. most of the times we don't, at sunderland we created a few but they had mignolet in a great day, world class goalkeeping from him that day. my point is it can't be a coincidence that all of our strikers don't score at the moment. i thank mancini for everything he gave us and i'm trully greatfull to him but we must move on. this squad along with 2 very good hungry and young new players with a good manager like guardiola and we would be destroying everyone, it's pretty plainful to me watching us now. i see mancini staying here until the summer and if we don't win anything till then (i mean the league not fa cup) then i think a new manager will come. if mancini with 2 new additions wins us the league again (which i sadly doubt) then i would be happy to be wrong about what i said.

I'm afraid the FA cup might not be enough this time around . Look at what Chelsea did with RDM.

I sincerely hope we don't use Chelsea as a guide to what we should do.

Platt also said if Sunderland game was replayed they'd win '9 out of 10 times'.

And because of these comments we look like complete losers. And Balotelli is still ill.

We could have still been playing now and not scored and Balo is not being risked as he is gone come the transfer window.

-- Fri Dec 28, 2012 10:55 am --

If it wasn't for all the trophy's they had won, you might just have a point mate, but.........

Roman is ruthless and has every right to be in his quest to see the club successful on and off the pitch.

Probably the reason the man is so successful in his personal life as well.

If it wasn't for him being such a trigger happy arsehole, Ferguson would have about 5 titles less. Apart from spending money & signing Mourinho, his decisions at Chelsea have been mostly ridiculous.

Ridiculous decisions that has seen him win the lot!

I'm sure he asks himself why every day as stability is obviously not working for him.

Even given the trophies they've just won I wouldn't want us to use them as a guide.

Doesn't mean that we can never replace a manager, but not the way they do it and for the reasons why they do it.

Highly paid football professionals that know full well the risks attached in taking on a job at Chelsea, happy to do so though knowing the rewards.

I don't feel sorry for them at all.

As for the reasons, see the trophy cabinet.

No he doesn't, just like if he misses the league yet again this season to a Utd team who can't defend or a City team who can't score, he won't look back & wonder if it's yet another title Chelsea have spunked away by their failure to build a team under one manager, he will be too busy wondering whether to sack Benitez & watch it all happen again next year.

I don't feel sorry for them either. Nor will I feel sorry for RM when and if he gets the push.

But their trophy cabinet would be looking a whole lot better IMO if they didn't allow their players to down tools every time they want the manager changed. 1 league title in the last 6 years and unlikely to make it a second this season. A few cup wins is great, but they finished in 6th place last season for a reason.

Finishing 6th didn't matter though due to winning the chumps.

No doubt they will win the Capital Cup and finish top 4 this season.

Silverware every year isn't something to be sniffed at.

It also managed to get them players like Hazard!
