Is Tevez better than Rooney?

Rooney get's branded the best on the world because he scores like 18 in 20, tevez has scored like 19 in 20 or somthing like that, so why he isn't the best player in the world?

oh because he don't play for the scum.

Like I said, wait for Tevez's performance next season, and then we can judge him against the world's best. Re-read that last sentence, and then think how fucking stupid you sound haha. Tevez played for United last season, and wasn't particularly great, he's been excellent this season, but to be considered on that level, he has to do it in the World Cup, and in Europe next season and in the league. Not just for one season, but he has to hit another 25 goals next season as well, then he can be considered on Rooney's level, and I don't see why he wont. I'm sure he'll get another 25-30 next year.

No Rooney, haha!

Tevez has had a fantastic season, but if I had to choose one I'm ashamed to say it would be Rooney. Although unlike Bacon Face, I don't share the view that they couldn't play together. Maybe they will very soon!

If you think Rooney can help West Ham to avoid relegation in 10 games, they are equal.
If you think Rooney can help us (w/o Tevez) ending with top 4, they are equal.

I'd say Scum's Rooney > Scum's Tevez, City's Tevez > Scum's Rooney.

Rooney's finishing is just average. He gets a zillion chances. So I give Tevez the edge in that area. Rooney makes some nice passes and all but he is just sloppier than Carlos there. Guaranty you Tevez turns it over less and has better touch on the pass. Look at that through ball Tevez made to Bellers that led to the corner against Birmingham. It was phenomenal. Rooney is quite a bit stronger and better on the ball though. Not sure I'd give either the edge to be honest. I think the media loves Rooney and has no reason to love a foreigner like Tevez. For instance, I'd take Drogba over either of them. He's the best in the prem. up front. But the media certainly doesn't see it that way.

I think it's very close and I actually seriously think Tevez puts a lot more effort in most of the time, he seems to run and go for every chance he can get, like his goal when he leaped up and tipped it over the keeper with his toes. I'd say I honestly think in my opinion that Tevez just edges it as the better player.
