Is the champions league that important to you?

it's champs league or bust, it's our owners dream, if we don't get it they will eventually move on and we will never see any sort of cup again, as fans we must be careful what we wish for, fa cup over 4th is not a option.

I think the owners have invested too much to just walk away if they didn't get their own way. Plus they won't accept failure and walk away with their tail between their legs.

If they did move on, at least if we had won the FA Cup we'd have some more silverware in the cabinet to show for it

It's a real dilemma this i think. I think the people who run the club have built all their plans etc on cl qualification, it means we can keep those players who "bought into the project" , and add players who simply would not come here without CL . It will be easier to balance the FFPR criteria , and to "build the brand". That said i think we have been so far away from winning anything for so long that for some having a pot raher than 4th will hold sway. I can see both sides, however , long term CL qualification will bring more sustained sucess and quicker , than a one off cup win would, unless the removal of that banner at the swamp is more important to you. My heart says cup my head says CL qualification is ultimately the only key goal, sad though that may be.

I really want us to be in the Champions League, and seeing Spurs adventure this season has made me want it even more. The biggest problem for me is if we're watching Champions League football in a half empty stadium like we have watched all the cup games in this season. That would be embarrasing.

Don't need to worry everybody will be in the cup direct scheme next year
